The EZP2023 software automatically detects or allows manual selection of chips from dozens of manufacturers. The supported chip list includes, but is not limited to: W25X, W25Q, W25P series (e.g., W25Q64, W25Q128). MXIC (Macronix): MX25L, MX25U series. EON: EN25T, EN25F, EN25Q series. ATMEL/Microchip: AT25F, AT25DF, AT26DF, AT93C series. GigaDevice: GD25Q, GD25B series. ST/STMicroelectronics: M24, M25, M95 series. This public link is valid for 7 days

If you have a chip not listed here, do not return your EZP2023. Instead, download NeoProgrammer, select "Search by Vendor," and you will likely find that "unsupported" feeling was simply a software limitation.
First, ensure all connections are secure and the chip is properly inserted. If it still isn't detected, check the chip's markings and see if it's listed in the software's database. If it is, you can select it manually. If it is not present, the EZP2023+ software allows you to add new chip definitions manually.
