During the COVID-19 pandemic, this unique building once again proved its adaptability, as the "Morelli" was temporarily converted into a dedicated COVID-19 hospital, providing over 200 intensive and sub-intensive care beds. Today, the "Eugenio Morelli" Hospital is a cornerstone of healthcare for the entire Valtellina area.
