Στην πρώτη περίπτωση το λογισμικό προσφέρει μία ιδιαίτερα φιλική δι-επιφάνεια χρήσης, στην οποία το παιδί μπορεί να βρει διάφορες εικόνες και σύμβολα από τις λεγόμενες «βιβλιοθήκες συμβόλων» και να προχωρήσει στη διεκπεραίωση των δραστηριοτήτων που έχει σχεδιάσει ο εκπαιδευτικός. Στη δεύτερη περίπτωση, η οποία βρίσκεται σε άμεση σχέση με την πρώτη, το παιδί έχει τη δυνατότητα να χρησιμοποιήσει λέξεις.
